Motor Mounting
Was wondering if anyone with a '82 20SF running an Evinrude 150 might suggest a good height/hole to mount on. Transom is "25. I'm now mounted on the very top hole but feel that may be too low. The engine is a 97 model. Any suggestions?

BRP recommends mounting the motor high enough that the top of the anti-ventilation plate is dry when you're up on plane to minimize lower unit drag. If you're running a good stainless prop, mounting motor so AV plate is about an inch above bottom of hull should get you in the ball park. Some props can be run higher than others.
