Default Eating my words :) 1972 25 Seafari Project

New to me 25 seafari project !!!! I said I'd never do another project and I guess this makes me a liar. The floor, deck and the transom all seem solid . . . not 1 soft spot.
Drove 330 miles to NJ this weekend and another 330 back with this beast in tow. I feel like this luckiest guy right now . . . Thank you Chuck "strick" for sending me the NJ craigslist ad.

washing off a little dirt . . . boat cleans up mint.

after removing 5 inches of leaves:

Both fuel tanks and hoses are in great shape!

white bottom paint

Just hosed off one side no soft scrub

Motor (supposedly rebuilt in 1997, used for 5 hours)

Great score Tim! I got to ride on both Dave's and Connor's 25 Seafari's last weekend and they're awesome riding boats! But be prepared for some serious banking in turns, sort of like an F-16! I think I'd move those trim tabs to the outer panel and maybe copy Dave's enlarged fiberglass trim tab modification. It's a pretty clever design and he says it's very effective! Denny

Youll be able to push off the dock on Fridays and fish and stay on this rig all weekend. Awesome. Glad you pulled it off.....now go rob a bank . This is my fav pic:

And another partakes of the cool aide! DELICIOUS stuff, you are going to love it.

I foresee the need for a multi-25 Sea of Cortez trip. I think this will make 5 of us.

Imagine, Five 25s all lined up in Cabo.

Thanks for posting the capacity plate, answered a question I had.

From what I can see, the gel coat is in very good shape. Any crazing?
