25" Transom to 30" Transom questions--for twin engine

25" Transom to 30" Transom questions--for twin engine

I am going to rig my 23 Tsunami with twin 175 Evinrudes.
My transom is currently a straight 25".
I will have to raise the transom 5" to use the 25" Shaft twins....correct????
Has anyone ever raised their transom to 30" for twins...or shoud I use jackplates ..any help or feedback is appreciated!
