MA 20 Running Depth?
How shallow can this boat run or float?

Slo Poke1, I'm puzzled by your question. If you are looking to build a flats boat I would suggest NOT starting with a Formula, Highliner, Bertram or Seacraft hull. They are pretty much offshore boats. Maybe a Proline, early Mako, or early Aquasport might be best if you are trying to float "high in the water". After all Carl Mosley didn't win the Miami to Nassau races in a Hewes.

Draft is about 12 inches with motor up. Probably a couple more " draft loaded down. I wouldn't venture in water that shallow by choice, but then I've spent a night sleeping on a 20 laying beached on its side

That's what I thought, but I wanted to confirm it. Have always heard great things about the SC and wanted to believe they could defy gravity and run skinny.
