I'm using them on a 5.7. So far, no problems, but they are made in China, a worry.

The old C word! Are any US made out there? Last rebuild I did I had more problems with the new replacements than the things that were reused.

I just went with mercruiser. I figured there are enough of them around, and plenty of people carry them so replacement parts are easy. I don't remember what I took off but the mercruiser exhaust was completly enclosed and cooled while the other was exposed before getting cooled. More heat, moisture and therefore rust.
