The time has come
Hi Joel my name is Ray. I bought a 74 tsunami with twin I/O a couple of months ago. Well one of the motors craped out so I want to put on a bracket and outboard. Of course floor and transom need to be redone. I have a little bit of fiberglass experience so any advice would be awesome. I also live in vero my friend Nate said he has been fishing with you but let me know where your shop is I will be needing materials.

Well, If you know were Nate's shop is then you know where my new place is Im right next door - just moved there so I would have enough space to build a boat. Im not there all the time right now, I just use it to stock inventory, but starting next week I will be there a lot building the boat. I can certainly help you along the way with materials and advise. I subscribed to this thread so I know when you update. First thing is pretty simple; demo. The great thing about I/O's is the transom is already enclosed so you get to use the old cap. Post some pictures and I can give you some ideas on the best place to make the cuts so as to make for less fairing work putting her back together.
