I love the boat except.
Lack of on deck storage for tackle. Lack of seating options. I thought about buying a leaning post that has storage and seating and installing it behind the helm seats. Right now I use coolers for seating. Other than that, it's a solid boat that handles well and the old merc 225 pushes it great. Top speed is around 42 loaded down. I usually cruise at around 36 if it's flat. The boat could use trim tabs. We do a lot of free diving and fishing from it. |

Our 1986 W/A
We haven't had any issues with Sea Cracker other than normal maintenance that many of the folks here have guided me thru. Pam & I have enjoyed her for the years we're had her. We are the 2nd owners. Original twin 135s.

thanks for the replies, buying a used boat thats 3+ hour drive away is going to be a little complicated but hopefully worth it.

Wow....two mid to late 80s walk around, nice. Don't see them everyday. Had a friend who was trying to be "Mr. Negotiator" on one of these in outstanding condition about eight years ago and he pissed off the owner, which sold it to someone else for a very nice price. It's still being fished today.

Welcome to the club. I've had mine since 2008, and it has served my family very well.
