102 gutted. Caught him on a Williams rubber ballyhoo with a mono leader. Less than 5 minutes from strike to gaff on a stand up jigging rod with a Penn Torq. His number was certainly up.

Got this toad Warsaw on the same trip but had to go down 330' to shoot him. It was a banner weekend.

The "action figure" in the picture is 6'2" 330 lbs. so most fish look kind of small against it. I can't remember how much the warsaw weighed but the hoo was definitely 102 on a state registered commercial scale. It spent a few days in the hole so it probably lost a lot of fluids as well.

I cannot fathom that you dove 330 feet down to spear a fish. You must have nerves of steel.

Some day I will get certified. Right now, I just throw on a mask and snorkel and hold my breath. With that said, I would still like to try spearfishing sometime in Florida.
