Default ‘74 20’ SF new transom

Hello All,

I’ve had this boat for around 9yrs. The time has come to redo transom, I’m also having a new fuel tank made. My plan is to make the transom 27” then hang a new Etec 135HO on it. May also put the motor on a 6” setback hydraulic jack plate.

I would also like to do away with the the transom well and make the seats next to it about 1/2 the size and bring them up to gunnel height. Port side would be for tackle box storage, stbd side for rigging and filter.

Also looking into deleting the thru floor drains and moving them out the transom with ping pong scuppers.

I’ll try to post up some pics.

Have you contacted Maverick Boats in Ft. Pierce?

I have not. I did contact a Pathfinder dealer in NJ, haven’t gotten a response yet.

Need to look into the liquidator place mentioned above.

Picked up a hydraulic jack plate. 5.5” setback around 6” up/ down adjustment.

Anyone have any experience using jack plates on a 20’ SF?
