Default New to me 2005 23’ with 2018 300 hp Evinrude G2

So looking forward to hitting the Great Lakes mainly Erie and Lake Michigan fishing for walleye and salmon as early as this weekend! Plan to keep a home near Ann Arbor Michigan and trailer for mobility. Ice is either gone or going soon! Very pumped with expectations of this boats potential. Love the layout and performance. Sea tried it last week on Lake Erie in cold high winds in small crat advisory and was very impressed. No doubt is fast enough to get there. Challenge will be to get it slow enough when I need to troll. Think will work well though.

Very nice!! NO doubt you will have plenty of speed! Somehow that boat would look more at home in Florida and warm weather trolling for dolphin!

Don't listen to Don! Our SeaCraft's look just right on the Great Lakes. Who in their right mind wants to wear flip-flops and shorts year-round.

Bill you were doing great until the third sentence!!! I mean shoot, why live where you MIGHT get six or seven months of nice weather a year versus us Crackers who are used to eleven plus months!!

No matter Jfd's boat looks sweet!!

Love the comments, thanks! Have to agree would be great to be chasing dolphin in Florida. Maybe that’s in this boats future. On the other hand these Great Lakes season’s keep our boats and motors young, they’re only used half the time! I appreciate being part of this group. A new seacraft owner!!

There may have been a touch of jealousy there. It’s been a long, long, long winter.

Jfd, seriously, you will love how the SeaCraft hull handles tight Great Lakes chop and their stability in fast changing conditions.
