Has anyone painted their transom a different color than the rest of the hull? I'm toying with the idea of adding a bit of zazz to my boat by highlighting the transom with a different color of paint sort of like how some sportfishers have varnished wood for theirs. I'd love to see some pics if anyone has done this.

I actually thought about this briefly on my re-build. I think you loose some of the effect if you have on outboard or a bracket breaking up the transom. Man it looks great on that inboard though.

You're right about the bracket breaking up the transom. I was thinking I'd leave that the same color as the hull.

I figured if I tried to match the hull it would look like a mistake so I went white.

The white looks good with the blue. Maybe I can do the opposite since my hull is close to white already
